1972 TR6 For Sale!!

Description:
I'm selling my 1972 Triumph TR6, commission number: CC80068
uo. I've had the car for about 5 years and during that time has replaced
or overhauled nearly every component in the car. I've done quite a few
modifications, but I've been careful about keeping the original parts that came
off of it (as long as they were in decent shape). Needless to say the car
comes with many parts that I've taken off or accumulated over the years.
General Description: As far as
I know there are no issues with this car. In the two British car shows
that I've entered it's come in first place in its class (British Car Days
South, 2008 and The Gathering, 2009). I bought the car from a doctor in
Salisbury, but before that the car had sat in a garage for nearly 13 years after
been painted. The paint was great but the car had been poorly put
together. I bought it and over 3-4 years have essentially replaced or
rebuilt every component on the car. The engine was rebuilt by Dave Crane
of Henderson, NC about three years ago and with the upgrades I've done allow it
to run extremely well with little to no impact on drivability. The transmission shifts smooth and the suspension upgrades allows it to handle
like a new car.
There's not much on this car that needs to be done. It's not a trailer queen, and I drive it several
times a month, but never in the rain. I'm
selling the car because with a wife and two children, it's really hard to enjoy
a car with only two seats. I'd like to
try to find an older convertible Mustang or Camaro that I can fit the entire
family in.
I'm asking $18,000 for the car. This car is not for you purists out there,
but if you want a great example of a TR6 with some tasteful upgrades then this
is your car.
